Mince Pie Loaf Cake Recipe

Instructions: 1. Preparing the Cake: Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.

Step 2: Preparing the Cake  In In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

2. Baking the Cake: Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 4:  Optional Glaze:  In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.Drizzle the glaze over the cooled loaf cake.

Step 5: Cooling and Serving  Slice the Mince Pie Loaf Cake and serve it on its own or with a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, if desired.

Step 6: Enjoy! If you don't have mincemeat, you can make a quick substitute by mixing together chopped dried fruits, such as raisins, currants, and citrus peel, with a splash of brandy or orange juice.
